The Redwood is a charming little fable about trees living in California. I like to think of it as a cross between Animal Farm and Watership Down. It’s my ode to the redwood forests of California, which are right next door to my Sierra Nevadas, whose beauty and grandeur has been an inspiration. It’s a short read (around 230 pages) and full of humor and heart.
I’ve been working on The Redwood for the past year, and it’s been a great experience. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Thank you to all the writers and bloggers who’ve encouraged, inspired, and motivated me this past year.
